I had the pleasure of being invited by tropical twista to illustrate the cover art of the collection of released and unreleased tracks by the body percussion group Barbatuques, re-imagined and remixed by the multi-instrumentalist Kadum.Barbatuques, body-percussion group formed since 1995, has over 13 members and is known not only for the original masterpieces, but also for the various remixes made of their tracks, some tunes already reaching millions of plays in streaming platforms.

The inspiration for this work comes from the combination of the dancing rhythm, vibrant colors and the percussive power of our bodies as instruments, placing the hands as representatives of this percursive power.
